Creative Spaces..

I've seen others Creative spaces so I thought I'd show you mine. I haven't gotten much stamping done in the last few days because my desk looked like this:

No wonder my mojo has been hiding; it's lost somewhere on the desk. Our new house is very small as I've mentioned before and my desk is in the Dinning room/living room area and right behind the couch. So we are cramped.

Here are some pictures of how I have my area laid out it's not the most convenient but it works for this house so far.

My desk after cleaning it all day! Yes Virginia, There is such a thing as a clean workspace. At least for a few minutes.

This is a cubby hole in the wall I was able to fit my cabinet in. It's behind my desk area.

Everyone needs good inspiration.. and this picture is perfect or to just keep a smile on your face!!

This is the cabinet that I keep all of my current Stampin' Up! Stamps in. My husband has a rule, that once this is full I cannot get anymore..lol. I will find a space in there if I need too.. And when the Retired list comes out there is magically space open again.

I keep my 12x12 Papers in the drawers along with my Chipboard. The smaller drawers hold my embossing powders, glitters and smaller items.

This stackable drawer unit fits under the side of my desk and keeps my adhesives, small punches, loose ribbons, light table, sponges and odd and ends at arms reach. My Large punches hang in a shoe organizer on the back of the closet door in the entry way.

Under my desk I have my Filing cabinet and my Big shot (in the checkered bag.

In the bottom drawer I keep my scrap papers in folders grouped by color families. I reach here first instead of using a full sheet of paper.

In the top drawer I keep my Craft spots, and Black inks. My Crop-a-dile and random tools.

Ribbon are stored in Stampin' Up! Ribbon keepers.

The flower pot my son made in his preschool class and it's perfect to hold my snips, scissors, bone folder, glue, tweezers and all those other tools you use a lot.

This will conclude my tour of my Creative Space.. I'd like to see yours too. Post a comment in this post with a link to your space.

Happy Stamping!!!

  2. Hahaha, that first picture of your messy desk is what my desk looks like 24/7! Right now I have cardstock and stamp sets strewn all over it. Oh well, I can never keep that sucker clean!

  3. Thanks for posting your stamping space pics! I have decided that I'm ordering the Ink Caddy and Ribbon Holders from SU in March when I am hostess for my Stamp Club. Your pictures just confirmed that I "need" them to get organized. (My ribbons are a huge tangled mess right now.)

  5. I love your creative space Holly. My hubby has just made me a whole new space to sit and play at too. I am very lucky to have a whole room to spread myself out though, our children have all grown up and left home, and we have a 5 bedroom home. I have been strolling through your blog site tonight totally loving your work...it's awesome. You have so inspired me. I am only a new Stampin' Up demonstrator, only joined in February this year, after only hearing about them, and using them for the first time October 08, but I love these products of theirs. I am addicted...it's worse than chocolate.
... thanks for sharing your creative space and your amazing work.
