Sunday Stamps..

Well we are on the letter "Z" this week which means we have reach the end of the Alphabet.. What a journey it has been. Thank you to everyone who has been playing along..

You know the drill by now, but just in case you are new.. Upload your creation using a set or a stamp that begins with the letter "Z" in the Mr. Linky Box below and I'll post it next week with my card as well.

Last week was the letter "Y" and I have to say I thought I had more then one set but I was wrong... So I found my "Yummy" set that is retired and I used that. I decided to make something Yummy so to speak!

Instead of a card I made a treat holder... I had a hard time getting some good pictures this morning, it's cloudy and gloomy here and I'm still learning Photoshop. So I have a couple photos for you to show you the project.

If you follow me on Twitter you saw some pictures last night giving you a sneak peek.

I don't know why but I love putting my cards in this bush to take photos..lol I used some retired Pacific Point card stock and some retired DSP. And created a box for a Reese's Candy Bar. I just measured and made my own template. I was missing my scoring blade for my cutter and I had to use my Scor-Pal and I have to say I'm not a fan! This is a very hard tool to use, I've had it for a few months and I just can't get the hang of it.. So if anyone is a faithful users of this tool, please pass on some well needed tips for using it.

I stamped the image from "Yummy" with Pacific Point & Kiwi Kiss Markers.. you can see how I made those here on my YouTube Channel or in this post.

I cut it out and layered it with some dimensionals. I had a piece of Designer Hardware left over from a pack that we had in the catalog last year and I thought it would look cute with this owl paper. So I punched out a 1 1/4 inch circle and off set the snap into the circle and added it to the side of my focal image.

I crimped both ends with the Paper Crimper and I added some Tombow Multi-Purpose adhesive to the inside of one edge to keep it closed but you could just tie it shut with the ribbon .

I squeeze and shaped my ends so they would fold in, then I added a 1 1/4 inch circle of Kiwi Kiss on the end to bring in some more of that color. I used my Crop-a-dile to punch a 1/8 inch hole in the ends to thread my ribbon through. I also used the Crop-a-dile to set my snap. I keep one end unglued so you could slide the candy bar in and out without destroying the packaging.

Lisa in Alaska uploaded a card last week that she made with the letter "Y" and she used the same stamp set I did.. Great minds think a like...Stop over to her blog and she what else she has created.
