Sunday Stamps...

Sorry I'm so late with this today.. I got pretty busy at the end of last week and then it continued into the weekend.

My husband and I went and checked out a new theatre up in Williamsburg. He has been waiting to see the movie The Forth Kind . Not my type of movie, but I have to say it wasn't bad. This one is a scary movie, I jumped a few times and he mentioned we might retire in Alaska awhile back, but after seeing this movie I'm not going anywhere near Then we had lunch at the Bonefish Grill in the same shopping area, they had awesome Fish Tacos..It was a nice mid afternoon!

Turns out I had a card for Sunday Stamps and didn't know it.. This is my last project for my Upcoming Technique class and the stamp set I used starts with an "I" so I was ready a few weeks ago.

The set I used is Inspired by Nature.. This is the crayon resist technique, my background is several different blues that I brayed onto the card stock. I will do a video on the techniques I've posted recently if I don't already have one.

Next week we are on the letter "J" so get out those stamps that begin with the letter "J" or you can make a card using a Technique called Joseph's Coat.. In the tutorial shown in the link they use a spectrum pad, if you don't have one of those pads you can brayer, sponge or apply different colors onto one piece of card stock, just make sure you apply your lighter color first! I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Speaking of Alaska.. Lisa who happens to live in Alaska made this card for last weeks Color Challenge and Sunday Stamps..

How cute is that turkey? Great card Lisa!!! Don't forget to link up in the Mr. Linky box below!! I'm off to bed almost midnight here.. I will be back tomorrow with a new Color Challenge!!
