Sunday Stamps..

We are on the letter "K" and you had the choice of using a "K" set or the kissing technique.. I picked the kissing technique. I made this card with my friend Lisa in mind..she loves her snow! She even moved to Alaska so she could have a ton of it..

I started with this past week's Mojo Monday Sketch and then went with some Dynamic Duo colors.. Bashful Blue & Brilliant Blue with some Whisper White thrown in there, My card base is 5x5 Brilliant Blue. I added a piece of retired DSP in Bashful Blue and then I made my circles using the Circle Scissor Plus. I stamped the snowflakes from Serene Snowflakes in Bashful Blue & Brilliant Blue.

The word SNOW is stamped using the Headline Alphabet with Bashful Blue and then I kissed the snowflake from Short & Sweet with Brilliant Blue onto the letters and stamped them onto Whisper White and cut them out. I layered them onto another piece of Brilliant Blue & Whisper White and I added some Liquid Appliqué to the letters. Then I heated it with my heat tool... There is a secret to this stuff to get a nice smooth finish you want to let it dry before you heat it, but if you want it to appear bunched and messy then heat while it's wet.

This week we are on the letter "L" so get out those sets that begin with the letter "L" or make a card or other craft showing "Love" Valentines Day is right around the corner. Leave a link to your project in the comments section.
