Sunday Stamps...

Sorry I haven't posted in forever! My little one was really sick and then I got sick as well. So it's been a rough week but it's all over and we're looking forward to a new week..

Sunday Stamps last week was the letter "R" and you could use a set that began with the letter "R" or use the colors Rose, Red or Ruby..

I used the set Razzle Dazzle..

I'm back to not having the greatest photos as well... still trying out new cameras this week we are using a Fuji... the Nikon and I didn't get along..lol My card base is Old Olive and a rubbed some Whisper White Craft ink around the edges to soften it up and give it a vintage feel.

I added a strip of retired DSP and a Bermuda Bay scalloped edge. I stamped my image in Old Olive on my card base twice and then again using my markers on a piece of Whisper White and cut it out. I tied some linen thread around it and adhered it with mini glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the same set onto Whisper White with black ink and cut it out and added a button to it before adhering it to my card front.

My mom was here for a few days helping me out while my son was sick and she made a card for the challenge as well.. She used Ruby Red as her main color and the Best Wishes & Great Friend Stamp Sets and some Soft Suede card stock and Polka Dotted Ribbon...

This week is the letter "S" so get out those sets or if you don't have any S' in your collection make a card using Scratch N Sniff... Yep let's get creative!!! Not sure what that is here is a link to a tutorial over at Splitcaoststampers..
