Smooch Toot!!

Here is how I achieved the look of the card I posted the other day!..

I started with a piece of Whisper White and Stamped the Gratuitous Graffiti background with a VersaMark and embossed it with clear embossing powder.

Then you want to Spritz it with the Log Cabin Smooch, keep it at a distance, too close and it will not give you an even spray it will be more like a splatter...

Cover your entire piece...

Then you want to take a tissue or a paper towel and wad it up and gently rub and clean off the embossed part of your image... As you rub the tissue it will remove the ink covering the raised embossed part of your image, it won't leave it entirely white underneath it will have a bit of a dirty color because of the smooch. If it was regular ink you'd achieve a different look.

Then re-spritz your image from closer so you get some splatter and let that splatter dry or set with a heat tool.. and then spritz again with the Gold Glow and your background is complete!

When you are using Smooch you want to protect the surface you are working on and the area around it.. I use the cardboard box my bottled water comes in.. It's old and raggedy but I love it! There is a Color Catcher available from Stampin' Up! That when taken apart it can be stored flat if space is an issue for you.

If you have any questions about the photos just leave me a comment!!!
