Digital Birthday!!

I wanted to play along with the Color Throwdown Challenge this week and then realized I don't have any River Rock card stock on hand. So, I decided to make a digital card instead... seeing as how I have access to all the colors in there.

I also used this weeks Card Sketch over at Splitcoast Stampers. I unique Sketch I must say and a bit tricky to maneuver! I was up for a challenge though.

With My Digital Studio (MDS) you can create your own background papers with the digital stamps. I placed the stamp in the same color as the background paper over top of each other and if you add a drop shadow you will be able to see the image even though it's the same color.. You can make the drop shadow darker or lighter as well.

And just like Stamping off with your stamps on scrap paper to get a lighter impression you can do the same thing like I did here with the hb behind the Word Wish.. Just adjust your Opacity to the shade you desire.

I'm out the door again this AM.. My son has to get some X-rays so I will be gone all day.. But Later tonight I will have a big announcement about the Friday Mashup! so make sure you check back. Have a great day!!
