When I use it or look at it, I'm reminded of good times in WA State with all my friends at Terry's Studio! Shirley and I had some good times with this stamp set. We both adore it!
I used two Challenges for this card today Sketch #170 over at Stamping 411 and The Oh Alice Challenge Chapter #32 Journey to the center of the earth. We are to showcase a Hole or Window in our project!
The focal image on my card is actually on the inside... My card base is Cherry Cobbler and I used a piece of Early Espresso that I stamped with the Coffee beans and then I added a punched border strip of Daffodil Delight. I did direct to paper with all the pieces with the same color of ink.. (just running the edges over the ink pad)
I punched a piece of Daffodil Delight with the Modern Label punch and then added a medium oval over it with a dimensional. The ribbon is the new Daffodil 1/8" Taffeta. I used the mat pack and a paper piercer along the edge of the Early Espresso piece. Here you can see the inside of the card.
I just used a ruler and a cutting knife to cut out the rectangle from the front piece. My ruler was a T-square if you aren't good with straight lines even with a ruler like me a T-Square is your best friend. I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far!
