Tree for Lisa!!

I hope everyone had a great Holiday!!! This cartoon is too funny I had to share it today....

Now onto the rest of my post.. I've had the pop up 3-D Christmas tree die for over 2 years and I have yet to break the plastic on it.. Well I'm happy to say it has finally been used!! It was way easier then I thought it would be to assemble. Making it into a card, well that was another story.

My card base of my project is 6x6.. and this is for my friend Lisa... ( Lisa act surprised when you get it!) It's late though, but she loved Christmas so she will be excited even if it's January when she gets it.

This is the outside of the card and when you open it... you get this!!

I've been hanging onto that string of lights for ever too.. They are from EK Success. I sponged all the pieces of my tree with Garden Green and I made a tree skirt for it complete with a ruffled edge using Stampin' Up!'s Trim Tinsel in Clear.

I stamped the skirt with the snowflakes from Serene Snowflakes and I sponged it as well.. On my tree I also added some of the Trim Tinsel in Silver and a star using the Tree Decorations Sizzlit.

My ornaments were made with a 1/4" circle punch and I added a matching rhinestone in the color or my card stock..There are several colors on the tree. When you fold the card up the tree goes flat so that you can mail it or store it..

My nights coming to an end..  Have a great Holiday Weekend!!
