Friday Mashup #4 Get those punches!!

This week Kim's up and she chose a Baby them using Punches or Dies.. So, get out those Dies for your Big Shot and your Punches!  You can make a Baby themed card with Punches or just a card using Punches or Dies or mix it up!

I have to say this was a bit of a challenge for me, I don't do a lot of baby cards nor a lot of punch art. It was a fun challenge though and I'm glad I did it!

Because how stinkin' cute is this baby card? It started as a baby carriage shaped card which I saw here. Then it ended up chopped and put on a card front instead.. I gave it a try though so that's all that matters.

I used the largest Circle on the Coluzzle which was about 4 1/4" round. Then I cut a V out of the side and added the DSP.. For the Carriage hood I just trimmed it by hand so it looks like it can fold up. I've had this piece of ribbon on my desk forever that I scrunched up by pulling a thread through. I stamped the Hello Baby onto White and then punched it with the Modern Label Punch and mounted it on a square circle and added the brads.

Here is my attempt at one of those charts showing what punches you will need and how many pieces...

The Triple Flower Layer Punch will be coming up in the Summer Mini catalog on May 1st.. The little blonde hairs are just some DMC floss I trimmed and taped behind the head so it would stick up.. My card base came out to 6x6, So stinkin' Cute!

Now head over to The Friday Mashup Blog and see what the other Design team members made this week and get started on your baby card and link up!

If you're looking for the Blog Candy I've been giving away all day.. You can still enter yesterday's here and I will have today's up later this afternoon.

Have a great weekend ahead I hope those of us that have had rain every weekend for like a month get a nice sunny, warm dry one!
