Teacher MoJo..

Teacher Appreciation week is coming up in May and my youngest's class puts together a basket with donations from all the families.. I made the cards for the teacher and her assistant. The kiddos are on Spring Break this week so the room parent will be getting the basket together this week so I needed to get on the ball and make them.

I was a bit stumped with Teacher Cards seeing as how I don't own many teacher or kid friendly sets.. But I love this boy and girl stamp from Greeting Card kids, I used it along with this past week's MoJo Monday Sketch.. and my colors are from The Color Coach.

Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Black & So Saffron ink and some Love Letter DSP. My images were stamped on Very Vanilla and I colored them in with a Blender Pen. Oh and a touch of Blush Blossom for the flesh tone.

This was an all day project too, I did it while I was doing a ton of household chores today but I finished 2 cards so I was pretty excited. Two cards in one day is a record for me.

The Sentiment is from The Many Thanks set and I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp it where I could punch it out with a circle punch and then I added some paper piercing. I layered it on a Black circle and then a Riding Hood Red scallop circle. The ribbon is Very Vanilla Grosgrain and some Twine. The base is Crumb Cake so a message can be written on the inside.

I'll be back tomorrow to show you my other card.. It's very cute! Hope your having a great Sunday.
