A Little Pickup..

Time for those end of year gifts for Teachers and Bus Drivers.. My oldest has a Male Bus Driver so I decided to make him a Gift Card holder...

The base is Crumb Cake and then a layer of Bravo Burgundy and some More Mustard DSP. It's a single layer card because the Gift Card Holder on the front opens up where you can write your message.

I stamped my image on Confetti White card stock and colored it using my Aqua Painter and Inks.

Because it's a guy card I used a Jumbo Brad to hold the Top Note together instead of some ribbon, you could use a button as well.

I used the Top Note Die in the Big Shot with a 12 x 5 piece of card stock scored at 4,6 & 8.. You bring the score fold at 6 up into a Mountain fold. ^  Then Fold it over to the right onto the 8" score side. Then you bring the 4" score side over to the Right as well. Basically you have a 1/2 fold in the center .

I didn't get any photos of it while I was making the Top Note part.. So I'll do a Video tutorial on it this week. Using the Word Window Punch I punched a slit to slide the gift card into . I left the bottom half blank so that I can write an additional message in that area. When you close it you just slip the edge under the Jumbo Brad.

Now I only have like 10 more gifts to come up with....lol
