Friday Mashup #19 with some Origami!

All I gotta say is I'm NUTS!! Like off my Rocker Nuts!!! I spent 3 days trying to make an Origami dress and I still didn't get it figured I found another version and moved on. But the end result came out pretty close to what I wanted so it all worked out!

This week it's Kasey's turn and she's challenging us to Butterflies with Bling.. We'll we all know I got this one in the Bag! But wait there's a color combo too and that is the fun part, you get to add what you want.

Those Butterflies on that tree are so cool looking on that Graphic, Don't you think? And let me say, we work ahead at the Mashup and WOW we have some very cool Challenges coming up in the next couple of months!

For my card I started with a Perfect Plum Base and then added a layer of  Textured Very Vanilla. Then I added some Rose Red with another layer of Very Vanilla with my Sentiment. My Dress is made from a piece of the Beau Chateau Designer Paper.

I used the Beutiful Wings Embosslit to cut out the Butterflies in the same colors. On my Dress I added some Dazzling Diamonds and then on the rest of the card I added some rhinestones for the Bling.

I love this pix you can see the tiny little Sparkle from the sun on the Rhinestones. This card is so pretty in the sun... Lots of Sparkle!

I added some Marina Mist Ribbon to the dress as well. I hope you will join us this week, the Design Team has made some great samples.. We all used different color combos and we can't wait to see what everyone creates this week. And don't forget we will be choosing our Monthly Guest Designer from all the entries this month.. So you'll wanna play along as often as you can.

I'm also entering this card in this month's So Shelli Creative Challenge.. Head over there and check the challenge out! It's a great way to expand your creative juices. Every month she puts up a new Challenge, and you could win Stampin' Up! Product!

What's your plans for the Weekend? I hope some fun stuff.. it's almost time for all the kids to go back to school soon. I plan on seeing the Help on Sunday and I can't wait it's going to be a great movie!
