King of the Grill MDS Style!

I spent the last few weeks catching up on some swaps I'm way behind on with a group of friends in WA and one of themes was Father's Day (obviously for May, yeah really behind). I don't have any Father's Day stamps in my stash so I thought why not use MDS and see what's in there. I choose the Digital Stamp "King of the Grill".

What I really love about My Digital Studio is you can make the stamps any size you want! I lined up what I could fit on an 8 1/2 x11 sized project and I printed them out and then I printed another set and punched the spot out I was going to color.

This technique is called "Spotlighting with a Punch" you can see I video I made on it here. Out of all the techniques out there this is my favorite. (warning my video is an older one lol)

My color combo came right from the Color Coach: Baja Breeze, Cajun Craze and Basic Grey. This is a really great combo for a guy card I think. I colored my image with markers and I used the Baja Breeze Water color crayon for the sky behind him in the circle.

I ran a piece of Baja Breeze through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder and put that along the edge. I punched out the circle for the image with the 1 1/4" punch and then the Basic Grey circle from the 1 3/8" punch.

Check out the inside.. I even did that with MDS!
