Friday Mashup #25 We're getting Sketchy!

How many hours does it take to get a post written up? Well for me it was well over 3 hours this AM. WordPress is having some issues and I couldn't get a photo in a post to save my life. So, I found a temporary fix and we're back on schedule.

It's time for another great Friday Mashup Challenge.. This week Kasey's up as our Host and she has created a Sketch for us to use. And she's Mashing it Up with a Masculine theme. We all need cards & projects for those special Guys in our lives right?

I don't have many or really any "Masculine" Stamps in my arsenal so I thought how about a Halloween card you could give to a guy. I used the new DSP Frightful Sight and a Inkadinkadoo Stamp Set. The color combo came from the DSP... Cajun Craze, Back, White & Basic Grey.

I started with a Cajun Craze 5x5 card base (5x10 folded in half) and I sponged the edges with some Basic Grey. I used the Coluzzle tool to cut out an Oval and I stamped the Spiderweb on it using Black ink. Then I stamped the Bat in Black and cut it out and adhered it over the web.

I cut my DSP to the sizes I needed and added them to the card base and I layered on the Oval and then I stamped  my elements along the right side. I stamped the smaller bat image on White and cut it out and popped it up with Dimensionals.

I also stamped a small spider in Black on Basic Grey and then Punched it out using a 3/4" circle punch and sponged the edges. And then I added a Cajun Craze Button... I love it! I don't usually make too many Halloween cards but this came out great. I might need to make some more!

Make sure you head over to the Friday Mashup Blog and see what the rest of the Design Team created this week and when you get a chance this week, create a Masculine Square card and link up we can't wait to see what you create!
