Freshly Made Sketches with some Royalty!

My wonderful friend Lesley over at Freshly Made Sketches asked me to be a Guest Designer this week and I was so excited!! I love this new challenge Blog, who doesn't love a great sketch and a Clean Sketch at that? I'm new to the CAS style of stamping and I have to say I'm loving it!  This Challenge has a fabulous DT as well...Thank you Ladies!

When I saw this week's Sketch I had so many ideas running around in my head, I didn't know where to start...lol I was cleaning out my stamp area and came across a huge box of retired SU chipboard and I noticed the bird body looked a little like a Ghost. So Halloween it had to be!

I started with a Basic Black base and did a layer of Basic Grey and some retired Halloween DSP and another layer of Basic Black card stock. I wanted to stay with the Black & Grey with just a touch of white. A strip of Black attached with some white brads and then I punched out a Grey Decorative Label and added some Black scalloped Polka Dot ribbon behind it and attached it with some dimensionals.

It was a little tricky getting a photo of the sparkle on the Ghost & Letters. I covered my chipboard in White ink and then embossed it with some Non SU powder that's white with some glitter in it. After I adhered them to the center I added some Black Rhinestones for the eyes. It's just too cute! I have a ton of these bird bodies and the large ones they will make great Ghost...

Speaking of ghost, my husband and I went to see Paranormal Activity 3 last night and Wow!! I don't think I've jumped that much during a movie in a long time..and I was watching a lot of it through closed eyes..lol If you saw the other two this one is worth watching!

Head over to the Freshly Made Sketches Blog and see what the Design Team has created this week and we hope you will play along with us! This is also being entered in this week's Challenge at Stampin' Royalty.. It's all about Halloween!
