Friday Mashup #28 It's Chilly in here!!

It's Friday and time for another great Friday Mashup Challenge.. This week Lesley is up and she has a great Snowflake themese Challenge for us. Her Mashup is to create an Easel Card that features snowflakes. I've never made and Easel Card before so this was fun.. They are really easy actually!

I used some shiny paper on my card so the photo isn't great. The paper is some left over I had from last year.. I think the brand is ANW Crestwood.

My card measure 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 when closed so it will fit in an envelope. My base is White and I used one double sided piece of Pattern patter.. The big snowflakes on the paper have glitter on them.

I added a small snowflake button I had in my stash with some floss through it to help support the Easel part of the card. For the Big snowflake I die cut that with my Big Shot an the Snowflake #2 die on a piece of White and then I used a Glue Ink Pad and covered it with Glue and sprinkled on some Glitter I have called snowfall it's a mix of white and glitter together.

Sorry my post is up so late today.. I've been burning the candle at both ends lately and I'm lacking in the free time department. Make sure you head over to the Friday Mashup Blog and see what the rest of the Design Team created this week.

We want to see your Snowflake Easel card too or you can just make a project with snowflakes or just an easel card.. Be sure to link up by Wednesday at 11pm EST. If your not sure how to make an Easel Card there are some great instructions here on Splitcaoststampers.

Happy Stamping!
