Paper Lovin' Gals #3

Thursday is here and that means it's time for a new Challenge at Paper Lovin' Gals. This week is challenge #3 and check out this very cool Inspiration Photo!

When I saw this photo I knew I wanted to make a haunted house like the one in the photo! So I broke out my Brayer, Glossy card stock and dusted them off. I used Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze & Pumpkin Pie to get the look of the sky.

I did some masking of the house and moon to keep those parts more yellow. I colored the Gravestones in with my Copic Markers and for the ground around the house I wanted to have some depth to it. I put a small amount of StazOn Black from the refill bottle on a clear block and using a old paintbrush I applied it in layers around the base of the house image.

I had everything looking great and then at the end I added the Witch image and I have to say I didn't like it after that. It just didn't look like I thought it would. But once you've stamped it what can ya do right? It took way to long to get that background around that house so I was going with it!

My card base is Cajun Craze which I did direct to paper around the edges with the same color ink pad and I stamped the sentiment from an Inkadinkadoo Halloween set in StazOn Black. Then I added some Hemp Twine to the Focal image.

You want to head over to the Paper Lovin' Gals Blog and see what the rest of the Design Team created this week and we're looking for a few more DT members too so if you'd like to be considered for a spot all you have to do is enter this week's challenge and put DT next to your name!
