I have a drawer full of these chipboard letters and I've been waiting to use them. When it comes to sparkly shiny things I tend to hoard them and not want to use them up. I fought my urge and broke them out, I love the retro feel to these one.
I started with a Always Artichoke base and then a layer of Cherry Cobbler and some retired Deck The Halls DSP. I sponged and roughed up all the edges on each layer. I mounted my letters onto a piece of Crumb Cake and layered it onto some more Always Artichoke. I stamped Christmas from the Many Merry Messages set in Artichoke.
To finish it up I added some of the chipboard circles along each edge, to resemble a brad. I love the shiny look these have! Head over to the Friday Mashup Blog and see what the rest of the Design Team created this week and we hope you'll join us this week!
