Paper Lovin' Gals #19

I'm two days late and a few dollars short getting this post up. It's been a crazy few weeks around here and I've fallen off the Crafting Wagon. My MoJo went a missing you could say..lol But I need to get back in there and keep at it.

This week at the Paper Lovin' Gals were one Challenge #19.. This is a great inspiration photo, you could really go in a lot of different directions.

I went with the colors in the photo as well as a Nature theme. My card base is Cajun Craze with a layer of Early Espresso and some retired SU DSP (Newsprint). I crinkled up the DSP and inked up the edges with some Early Espresso ink to make it a little worn looking. I used the Stamp set Field of Flowers.

I stamped the stem in Always Artichoke and then the flowers I stamped in Cajun Craze on a piece of Vanilla and cut them out and added with Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment onto Vanilla and then punched it out with the Small oval punch (Retired) and Layered it with another oval in Cajun Craze. I found some Black Hemp twine in my stash from long ago.

Head over to the Paper Lovin' Gals Blog and see what the rest of the Design Team created this week.. Lots of great inspiration to get your creative juices going! We hope you will join us this week.

I'll be back a little later with my Friday Mashup Project.. Hope your having a great Weekend so far!
