Paper Lovin' Gals #22

Wow this week is flying by... I will be happy when the weekend gets here though. It's Thursday and time for another great Inspiration Challenge from The Paper Lovin' Gals, This week we are on Challenge #22.

I have to say I was a bit stumped at first with this one.. But I pulled some colors and textures and came up with the perfect little Birthday Card! I used the Make a Monster set.. You can make all kinds of little Monsters, perfect for little kids or big kids.

I started with a White card base and then I added a layer of Tempting Turquoise, that I punched different sized circles into. I layered it onto the White base using some Dimensionals. My Monster in stamped in Black along with the greeting from  On your Birthday. Then I colored him in with my Markers: Pumpkin Pie and Tempting Turquoise. It's layered  onto a piece of Pumpkin Pie, and mounted with Dimensionals . The circles needed a little something extra so I put in a few Brads in the same colors from the Bright Pack.

My Monster can't just have his hand up with nothing in it right? So, I added a cute little cupcake, it's from the set Short & Sweet. The eyeball is stamped once onto the Monter image and then again on scrap paper and punched out so it pops up a little. This is for a Birthday Party my 7 year has on Saturday.. These kids love their Monsters!

Head over to the Paper Lovin' Gals Blog and see what the rest of the Design Team created this week and we hope you will join us!
