Paper Lovin' Gals #24

Wow it's Thursday already? The weeks are flying by these days it seems... It's time for another fun challenge at The Paper Lovin' Gals, this week it's all about Spring! Well it's an Inspiration challenge so you take from the photo what grabs you, the colors, an image, a theme etc.

I went with the wood from the fence and the pretty yellow flowers... My grandmothers Birthday is this week so I made a Birthday card for her. I started with a Crumb Cake card base and add the wood grain stamp in Early Espresso. Using some more Crumb Cake and a sponged a distressed around the edges a bit.

I stamped the Sentiment in Early Espresso onto a piece of Confetti Vanilla and then I punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch. I punched a second on in EarlY Espresso and framed the sentiment piece. I used the retired triple blossom punch for the flowers and a brad from the Sale-A- Bration bundle. I used some Wisteria Wonder and Domestic Goddess DSP for my flowers and mini Pearls.

Head over to the Paper Lovin' Gals Blog and see what the rest of the Design Team created this week.. We can't wait to see what you create using the photo above. And if  you tell a friend about the challenge and they play too, you can win a prize.. See the Blog for more details.
