Now when you see my project you wouldn't think it took me very long but WOW this challenge really threw me. I wanted to make a treat holder for some chocolates but, I didn't want to do something I've already done and I struggled getting what was in my head out onto paper so to speak.
I used a retired Sizzix die and created a box for some Ghardelli Squares. I used some Bashful Blue & Whisper White card stock and the gorgeous Silver Glitter card stock.
I started with the box and then I created a Rosette with some White card stock and the Rosette die. was just going to put the stamped Ornament on the top with the snowflake but I felt it needed something. So I added some tulle behind the Ornament. The ornament is stamped and then punched out with the coordinating punch.
I used the Snowflake die in the Holiday Mini Catalog to die cut the snowflake and adhere it with some hot glue. Then I stamped the sentiment and punched it out with a 3/4" in circle punch and added a mini brad to the center. This came out cute but it sits up pretty high and I'm not sure if I will want to make 20+ of these to giveaway at the Holidays.. Ha Ha I may need to rework something else.
Head over to the Friday Mashup and see what the rest of the Design Team created this week.. We hope you will join us for this week's Challenge!
Have a great weekend!! Stay warm.. We are still snowbound here in the Boonies, we are so high up that there is snow only where we are when you drive down the road a bit there is no sign of snow anywhere. My son is looking forward to getting some more sledding in.
