So I fell off the Stamping wagon for a bit. I just haven't had any creativity in me lately. I sat down with some new goodies and cranked a few cards out. This week at the Friday Mashup our Hostess Tara has a fun Challenge for us.
So here is the "Mashup" Challenge:
- Make a project "using your Markers (thumping,Color Spritzing,Coloring etc.)".
- Or Make a project with "Texture".
- Or "Mash it Up" and create a project with "Texture using your Markers".
I started out with a daffodil Delight card base and then I added a layer of Whisper White that I stamped the arrow image from Oh, Hello using my markers in Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise & Melon Mambo.
Then I die cut and Oval and embossed it with the Chevron Folder. I created 2 pinwheels using Melon Mambo & Turquoise DSP with the new Pinwheel Die in the Spring Mini catalog. I stamped the Happy Birthday from Wishes Your Way also in that Mini and punched it out with a Word Window Punch.
Aren't those pinwheels too cute! I love this new Die... To create the edge on the Happy Birthday I punched the end with the corner of a tag punch.
