Hello, Hello!!

I'm back!!! Did ya miss me? Sorry about that, things have just been crazy around here and I haven't been online much. I missed a few challenges too while I was away. I sat down today and stamped until I was caught up on some upcoming challenges.

Last week at Sunday Stamps.. Hayley was our hostess and she created this fun Sketch.

This was a great sketch to use up DSP with.. I started with a Crumb Cake base and then a layer of Primerose Petals. I used the Birds of a Feather DSP and some Island Indigo card stock  I added a piece or Primerose Petals Ribbon. The sentiment is stamped in Island Indigo from the set Sweet Essentials.

This week at Sunday Stamps Steph was our Host and she created this fun Color Challenge.

My youngest son had a Birthday Party last Saturday to attend and I whipped this card up for the Birthday Boy. It didn't come out the way I really wanted it too but it's still pretty cute! I used this Sketch from Retro Sketches

How can you resist the Make a Monster Stamp Set? My card base is Not Quite Navy and then I added a layer of Wild Wasabi DSP and some So Saffron DSP. I stamped the Monster onto a piece of Whisper White and colored it in with the Blender pen and Wild Wasabi ink. I added some google eyes for fun.
The Sentiment is from Bitty Banners and the Ballons are from Owl Occasions. I punched them out with a 3/4" circle punch.

I'll be back in a bit with another post.. I'm playing Catch up!

  1. I've had this set forever and have not inked it up yet... but I'll sure be playing with it now! Thanks for the great inspiration! I love that your cards have great color choices, texture, dimension and a clear focal point with embellishments that enhance that instead of overwhelm it.
You're amazing!! Glad I found you!
