Sunday Stamps #51 and we're going Bi-Weekly!

I'm really late with Challenge #51 for Sunday Stamps.. I still have a ton of projects on my computer I need to get posted.

Incase you haven't heard.. Sunday Stamps is welcoming 2 new Design Team members and we're going to a Bi-Weekly Challenge. So that mean more time to play along!

This week's Challenge will end on Friday @6pm EST. So there's still time to play along!

This colors remind me of Summer for some reason.. I think it's the Yellow & Bright Pink together. Yet I managed to create a Fall card... Ha Ha. Say WHAT??? A fall cards with Pink & Yellow.. YUP!

And it's cute! Well I think it is anyways...

My card base is Melon Mambo and then I added a layer of Daffodil Delight. I added ink around the outside edges and then I took a piece of Sahara Sand and ran it through the Big Shot with the Woodgrain embossing folder. Then I ran the Sahara Sand ink pad over the raised edges and adhered it over the Daffodil Delight piece.

The Sentiment and the Oval with the chevron pattern are from the "Oh, Hello" set and the leaves are from "Gently Falling" I used the Rock N' Roll technique on the leaves and then I stamped the outline in Sahara Sand before I cut them out. Now who would of though of Melon Mambo for a Fall card?

Head over to the Sunday Stamps Blog and see what the other Design Team members created with these colors and if you have a chance Link up! We'd love to see what you create with the challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Cute! Who knew those colors would work for a fall card? And they look good together. I would've never come up with that color combo. :-)
