MDS Monday...25 & 27!

Well I'm just a wee bit late with these Ha Ha... I'm back on track now though! MDSM25 was a Scrap Sketch, the Challenge is over but I really like the layout so I wanted to create a page with it anyways.

We made an unplanned stopped at the Deer Park a few weeks ago when we were headed home from a Weekend trip and the kids loved it!. We really should go more often it's only a short distance from the house... and how cute are these Fallow Deer?

Our current Challenge at MDS Monday is a Sketch by Joan..

This sketch was a bit tricky for me. My MDS tip of the day: SAVE, SAVE, SAVE as you are working. My computer froze up after I spent 3 hours working on this page and I forgot to save my work and I lost it all and had to do it all over.

This page is kind of I'm still in an adjustment period and getting used to living here. It'll be a year at the end of the Month but I'm not sure if I'm completely ready for another winter. The photos are one of the roads we travel to school everyday. I thought it was neat how you can really see the difference in the seasons. I need to get one in the Fall when the leaves are changing.

Joan's Sketch Challenge is open until Friday the 23rd.. So be sure to head over to the MDS Monday blog and see what the rest of the Design Team created and we hope you will play along.

  1. Great photos. I love these MDS pages!

  2. Holly, I love your layout. Your title and journaling say so much! We live on 21+ acres at 6,200' alt. and every time my SIL and brother come to visit, she says to my brother "you wouldn't move me here, would you?" I laugh, but know it just wouldn't work for her. I hope you have a lovely fall and that the winter isn't too hard.

  3. Fab pages, Holly! I love your seasons page - it makes me chuckle ;) Great interpretation of that sketch challenge!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment... I'd love to reply, please check that you're not a No-Reply Blogger so I can message you back. Thanks
