Sunday Stamps #57.. We're seeing Red!

It's Sunday and a Bi week over at Sunday Stamps so it's time for a new Challenge.. This week we are on a Color Challenge and the colors will make ya scratch your head a The Design Team had a bit of a challenge but they did great with their projects! Our colors for this challenge are any shade of Red, Black & Fuchsia.

I used just a touch of Melon Mambo with Real Red & Basic Black. Starting with a Basic Black Card base I added a layer of Real Red DSP. For my main image panel I stamped some of the drinks from Happy Hour in Basic Black.. Then I stamped them again in Real Red & Melon Mambo and cut them out and paper pieced the inside of the glasses.

I added a scalloped border along the drink panel with the Large Scallop framelit and then I stamped Cheers onto some Whisper White and punched it out with the Extra Large Oval punch. It needed a little extra bling so I added some Rhinestones and some Ribbon. On the Drink images I added some Dazzling Details.

Head over to the Sunday Stamps blog and see what the rest of the Design Team created with this combo.. Are you up for the Challenge? We can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Love the stamp set you chose---the paper piecing looks great inside the glasses. I love the simple sketch you used and the ribbon flags on the cheers sentiment. Very nicely done--I just may need to acquire this stamp set....
