* Dynamic Duos #80

* This post has been edited below.

It's Saturday and that means it's time for a new Challenge at Dynamic Duos.. This week we are introducing a new Challenge called the "The Triple Threat"!

I'm not going to lie I  had a total mind blip while I was creating my card this week and I used Rich Razzleberry instead of Raspberry Ripple.This one is still cute and what is great about our Challenge is you can use any shade of these colors you may have in your stash!

My card base is Blushing Bride with a layer of Blushing Bride that's been embossed with the Honeycomb folder. Then I added some Rich Razzleberry Scallops along my sentiment panel.

I stamped the Sentiment from Lots of Thanks in Pear Pizzazz onto a strip of Whisper White. Then I added some Hexagons punched from the Six Sided Sampler set in Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride & Rich Razzleberry.

I popped some of them up with Dimensionals for different heights. The sketch I used is from this week's Freshly Made Sketches, there challenge is open until Monday Nov 25th.

Head over to the Dynamic Duos Challenge blog and see what the other Design Team members created this week.. This is an awesome team and there are so many great projects each week! Our challenge is open until Thursday Nov 28th @ 12pm PST.

* Edit

I had some time so I recreated another card for my stash using the Raspberry Ripple and I love it! It looks better then the Rich Razzleberry IMO. lol

  1. This is so pretty! I love all those hexagons! Thanks for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  2. Love how you used the sketch & the color combo--beautiful card! I have yet to use my hexagons--thanks for the inspiration!

  3. Love these hexagons, Holly...embossed and stamped!!!

  4. They both are darn cute! :) I like the rich razzleberry very much!

  5. Both are very pretty, but I do like the Raspberry Ripple color better with the Blushing Bride..

  6. Love the honeycomb embossing folder on the background as well as your cute hexagon shapes in all of our fabulous colors this week!! The sketch works perfect for the images and love the sentiment as well :-)

  7. Love your card, Holly! I love your arrangement of colorful hexagons. Great job combining the two challenges also.
    :) Marie

  8. This is a color combo I haven't tried yet. I like it! I agree with you that the Raspberry Ripple looks better than the Rich Razzlebery. Hope you have a great Sunday!

  9. Holly your card is just gorgeous! Those colours are just so pretty together and I love how you've used the hexagons (I never quite know how to use them!) Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
