Dynamic Duos with some Connie & Mary!

It's time for a new challenge at Dynamic Duos.. I LOVE the colors this week, I think I could use Crumb Cake on every project. This week it's Crumb Cake & Marina Mist and of course you can use any additional neutrals like White, Black, Brown etc if you'd like.

I used the current Sketch challenge from Create w/ Connie & Mary ...and created a Snowflake card. I'm still cranking out Christmas Cards.

My card base is Marina Mist and then I added a layer of Crumb Cake and some Marina Mist DSP. I die cut a Crumb Cake Circle from the Pennant Sizzix Die. After I added the Circle piece I wrapped some Twine around the card front.

Then I stamped several of the Snowflakes from Festive Flurries in Marina Mist & Crumb Cake and die cut them out using the coordinating Dies and adhered them with Dimensionals. I cut out the small snowflake in the center by hand.

I stamped the sentiment from More Merry Messages onto a piece of Whisper White in Crumb Cake and cut it into a banner shape and added it behind the large Snowflake image with a dimensional.

I added some Crumb Cake Candy Dots to the upper Right hand corner and then after I took the first picture I decided it needed on in the center of the Snowflake as well. This was a fast card to make and would look great in other color combos.

Head over to the Dynamic Duos challenge blog and see what the rest of the Design Team created this week. The Challenge is open until Thursday at 12pm PST.

  1. A really pretty card; love the choice of falling snow/polka-dot background. Your last minute decision re: the Crumb Cake dot in the middle of the snow flakes was spot-on, too.
