Knobbly Gnomes for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Monday!!! Ha Ha is there really anything to be happy about on a Monday? I need a three day weekend, how about you?

This week at Sunday Stamps we're all about color and I'm dreaming of Spring, well Summer actually we don't seem to get Spring here where I live. It goes from Snow to hot then Snow again. When I came across this cute photo of some Daisies I knew it would be perfect for a cheery color combo.

I also used the Sketch from Freshly Made Sketches...

The colors we're using are Green, Kraft, Yellow & White.. I went with Stampin' Up!'s Garden Green, Crumb Cake, Whisper White & Daffodil Delight. I used another retired stamp set ( They need Love too right?) called Knobbly Gnomes.

I started with a Garden Green card base and then I added a layer of Whisper White that I stamped with the Hardwood Background in Crumb Cake. Then I matted it to a piece of Crumb Cake and added it to my card front. I created a second layer with a piece of Daffodil Delight. I stamped the small Daisy in this set several times in Daffodil Delight and the I stamped the sentiment in Garden Green.

The image is stamped on a piece of Watercolor paper and colored with the Aqua Painter and inks in the challenge colors. Then I added some Crystal effects to the water drop on the leaf. I also added a piece of Twine and some faux stitching with a white gel pen.

Head over to the Sunday Stamps blog and see what the other Design Team members created this week. The challenge is open for 2 weeks, we hope you will join us!
