Dynamic Duos & Freshly Made Sketches!

Whew am I glad it's the weekend and it seems Spring may be in the air... although I won't get too excited we will get a few more snowfalls here I bet before Summer hits!

It's time for a new challenge at Dynamic Duos.. This week we're using Gumball Green and we get to pick the other color.  I choose Melon Mambo for my other color and I'm using the new sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.

I used the set Field Flowers, this is one of those sets I had to have and then I think I've used it twice..lol I guess we all have a set or two like that in our stash right?  I started with a Whisper White card base and then I added a panel that I stamped the flowers onto and trimmed with the scalloped ribbon border punched from Gumball Green.

Behind the flower panel I added a piece of Melon Mambo DSP and then some Gumball Green Stitched Ribbon. For the sentiment I stamped it in Melon Mambo and punched it out with the small oval punch and then a second one in Green that I matted the words with.

I stamped the flowers onto a piece of Whisper White in Melon Mambo and cut them out and adhered them with some dimensionals. I really like how this came out, the clean crisp look of the white card base with the Green and Pink is so pretty!

Head over to the Dynamic Duos challenge blog and see what the other Design Team members created and link up.. The challenge will be open until Thursday @ 12pm PST. The Freshly Made Sketches challenge is open until Monday @ 12pm PST.

Thanks for stopping by... Happy Stamping!
