Sunday Stamps #75 & A little Watercolor Fun!

I'm a little late with my Sunday Stamps post this week.. I have so many projects going on my desk I'm loosing track these days..lol I signed up for the "Watercolor" Class from Online Card Classes and we started today. I decided to use the Sunday Stamps challenge colors for my first project.

They showed us 3 different styles of Watercolor backgrounds.. I decided to use a Acrylic Block for my background. I added the ink and water to the acrylic block and then stamped it onto a piece of watercolor paper that was moistened with water.  I held the block there for a few seconds pressing down so it spread more.

I used Costal Cabana & Melon Mambo Ink... I like how it turned into a purple where they colors met up. I dried it with my heat tool. Then I stamped the Thank You in Black StazOn from the SU set "Another Thank You".

I added 2 small banners along the edge in Costal Cabana & Melon Mambo to bring more of the colors in. And I stamped "So Much" on the Cabana piece. Then I added some Black & Hot Pink sequins. This came out kinda cute actually.. Tomorrow I'll attempt a few more using the techniques they showed us.. I had a few problems with one today using Stencils, it just didn't happen for me..lol

Head over to the Sunday Stamps challenge blog and see what the other Design Team members created and Join us.. The challenge is open for 2 weeks. If you want more info on the Card Class you can click here.

Have a great evening!
