I wasn't sure where I was going to go with this sketch at first. I started with a piece of Bazzil Marshmallow card stock because I wanted a one layer card that was sturdy. Then I stamped the chevron from SU' " Work of Art" set in Lost Lagoon ink.. This is one of the new In Colors.
I stamped the chevron about mid way down first then I stamped it again several times without re-inking it to get an Ombre' effect. Then I stamped the "Watercolor Thank You" in Rich Razzleberry. I've had these 2 butterfly punches in my stash since SU released them but I'm sad to say this is first time I've used them. My name is Holly and I'm a craft Hoarder.. I must have it all! lol
I wanted the butterflies to have the same Watercolor look the chevron and sentiment did so I stamped one of the Watercolor brush strokes from the stamp set onto a piece of whit card stock in Pink Pirouette several times and punched the butterflies out of it.
Then I adhered the large butterflies with some glue and the small ones with dimensionals. It needed something in the lower left corner so I added some rhinestones. This came our pretty cute and I love this color combo!
Be sure to stop over to the Stampin' Celebration blog and see what the other Design Team members created we hope you will join us!
Have a great Sunday!
