Sunday Stamps.. It's a Sketch!

It's time for a new Challenge at Sunday Stamps and this week we are on a Sketch Bi-Week. This is a fun sketch that you could use for so many different projects.

I needed another Birthday Card and a guy one.. But I wanted to make it a fun one. So, I used the new SU set "Little Buddy Birthday" and some Watercoloring.

I used some retired DSP and pulled my colors from there. The card base is Basic Grey with a layer of DSP matted onto a piece of Bermuda Bay. Then I added some Summer Starfruit thick Baker's Twine. I stamped the image onto a piece of watercolor paper with Black StazOn and colored it in with Basic Grey, Bermuda Bay & Crisp Cantaloupe ink.

I created the banners from some more of the same DSP "Birthday Basics" Then I adhered to the card front using dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock  in Basic Grey Ink and I punched it out with the word window punch. Then added it along the edge of the front panel. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by... Be sure to head over to the Sunday Stamps blog and see what the other Design Team members created using this fun sketch and we hope you will join us. The challenge is open for 2 weeks.
