A little Lawnscaping!

Happy Tuesday!!! Today I have another fun card for you using distress inks. And I found a new to me challenge called Lawnscaping

I started out with a piece of watercolor paper and then I added some distress inks in Spiced Marmalade, Peacock Fathers & Mustard Seed onto a large acrylic block. Then I spritzed it with water and placed the watercolor paper over it and smooshed it down. Once you remove the paper you move it around so the ink pools etc and just keep paying with it. I dried it in-between layers etc.

When I started out my green was turquoise but then it started going more teal..but you can kind of see the turquoise behind the splatters. I added some faux stitching with a white gel pen and then I adhered the panel to a piece of Whisper White card stock. Then I die cut a sun from some Daffodil Delight using one of the Spring Showers dies from Lawn Fawn.

Next I die cut 5 Scripty Hellos from Lawn Fawn and stacked them together for some height with adhesive. Then I added some Wink of Stella to the sun and adhered that to my panel and I added the Hello over it. Then I added some Crystal Effects to the hello... it's hard to see in the photo.

To finish it up I added some more Sequins and a few small rhinestones.. LOVE IT!!! Be sure to stop over to the Lawnscaping challenge and see all the cute projects from the Design Team they are adorable! Thanks for stopping by!
