FM169 & FMS145 !!

Monday, Monday.. it seems like Monday snuck up pretty quick this weekend. I'm a few days late with my Friday Mashup project so I thought I'd combine it with the current Sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. This week at the Mashup we're using a Background Stamp and a 3-D element on your project.

I started a Basic Black card base and I added a layer of Smoky Slate that I stamped with the Positively Chevron background in Basic Grey. Then I stamped the dot border from the SSS All boy set, in VersaMark and embossed it in White onto a smaller panel from Basic Black. I also embossed the Birthday Wishes from the SSS Birthday Messages set.

I stamped teh game controller from the All Bot stamp in Memento Black ink onto a piece of white card stock and colored it in with some Copic Markers and cut it out. I die cut a circle from some Smoky Slate card stock and added the controller with some dimensional adhesive and drew in a cord with a black marker. I created 2 banner from the bitty banner punch and some Basic Grey card stock.

It's hard to see in the photo but I added some Wink of Stella clear on the buttons on the controller and then some Crystal effects. This is a cute Boy card!!

Thanks for stopping by today.. Head over to the Friday Mashup challenge and see what the other Design Team members created. The challenge is open until Wednesday @ 6pm EST. The Freshly Made Sketches challenge is open today until 12pm PDT.

*All products Stampin' Up! unless noted.

  2. I love this all-boy card, and I know a few more girls who would, too! The card is fantastic! Love the bright white embossing on the black and the color that draws your eye to the game controller. Very cool card! Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  4. Holly, you sure manage to make some awesome boy cards! Love this card! Great way to draw someone in with just a bit of color on the controller too.

  5. That is super cute, Holly. I had to go search for that stamp set. I wish there were a few more images in it.
