S'MORE fun with you.... Die Cut Crazy!

The July edition of Die Cut Crazy Magazine is now available on iPad or via a PDF. This is great magazine for crafting tips and fun techniques. I'm a monthly contributor starting this month and I'm so excited to be joining the team.

Our theme for July was Summer and I created this cute summer card using the fun Lawn Fawn set Love you S'more.. Who doesn't love S'mores? And I created another fun background with Distress Inks and a Simon Says Stamp Stencil called Dots & Stars.

I'm entering this in the Anything goes challenge over at Marker POP!!

I stamped the Images in Memento Black ink and then I die cut them with the coordinating Lawn Cuts and colored them in with COPIC Markers. I set them aside to work on the Background. I started with a piece of watercolor paper and added distress ink to the stencil then spritzed it with water and smooshed the card stock onto the stencil. Carefully life it off and you have a very unique background.

I created a Crumb Cake card base and then I added the background to a piece of Tempting Turquoise card stock. I adhered the background down and then I created some mountain shapes from some Mossy Meadow card stock just free handing it with my scissors. I layered them over the Background and then I added my images with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by!! I have a lot more posts coming up this week! Be sure to stop back and see what's new!
