Wednesday Challenge!!

Wow two post in one day again.. I'm on a roll! It's Wednesday and time for a new challenge at Simon Says Stamp's Blog. This week It's " Let's be Clear" We're showing off a clear product or using something clear on our projects.

I'm still cranking out Birthday cards as fast as I'm sending them out these days.. Not time to make some for my stash it seems. The fun part is I'm putting a nice surprise in my friend's mailboxes!

I'm still playing with the Stampin' Up! Blendabilities, The verdict is still out on these for me.

I love how this card came out and it looks so much prettier in person. My card base is Real Red with a layer of Crumb Cake. Then I added some Ruffled Ribbon in Costal Cabana along the edges of a piece of DSP (retired). Then I adhered that panel to the front of my card.

I stamped the Blended Bloom flower onto a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock using some Memento Black Ink. Then I colored in it with the Costal Cabana & Daffodil Delight Blendabilities. After It was all colored I fussy cut it out and added it to the center panel with some dimensionals. Then I stamped the Happy Birthday (retired Set) in Black ink onto some Whisper White card stock and die cut it using the Bitty Banners framelits. I adhered it to the flower with a dimensional and some adhesive.

The card was screaming for some bling but rhinestones were a bit too much.. Insert Pretty Pink Posh Clear Sequins in 6 & 4mm sizes. I love these Sequins. I adhered them with some Multi Medium Matte.

Be sure to head over to the Simon Says Stamp Blog and see what others created using some fun Clear elements. What products are you using these days that are Clear?

Happy Stamping!
