A Monstrous Birthday with Tiddly Inks.

Two post in a day.. I'm on a roll today!!! I recently purchased a few Digital images from Tiddly Inks and I've been experimenting with sizing them and coloring. My favorite image by far are these Monsters.. They are soooo cute!!! and I love that that are digital because I can make them as big or small as I want!

Tiddly Inks is also having a DT Call.. If you are a fan of Digital images & Tiddly Inks.. Be sure to hop over to their blog and show them your favorite image too!

I started by printing the Monstrous Party image out onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80# card stock and then I let it dry for about an hour to make sure it wouldn't smear with the Copics.

I colored the monsters first and then I ran into a huge boo boo with that red balloon.. It reminded me of my days doing nail and that darn red nail polish. It's a mess if you get it out of the So after I tried to fix it several times and made it worse I decided to cut out the 3 Monsters I had already colored and paper piece them. Which worked out much better.

I started with a new piece and trimmed it to size. I recolored that ballon being very careful and then I created the background with Copics B00 & BG10.. This is a great combo for a background and I used some of the Colorless Blender. I wanted the floor to look like wood so I used Copics: E23, E37 & E33. The balloon is colored with R14, R17 & R46 and I added some clear wink of stella to it.

The Monsters are colored with: RV55, RV66, RV63,Y17, Y13, Y15, B12, B18, B14 & C1. After I cut out the Monsters I outlined the edges with the black 100 marker and then using some Tombow Mono adhesive I added it over the image and moved it into place.. I actually really like how it looks with that small amount of dimension.

To finish up the card.. I created a Bazill Marshmallow card base and then I added some patter papers from the DCWV Edumacation Stack. I stamped Happy Birthday from the SSS Birthday Messages set onto a piece of SU Daffodil Delight card stock. I couldn't leave it alone so I had to add some Pretty Pink Posh

I'm also entering this into the MarkerPop challenge this week which the theme is "Anything Goes" this is a great place to get your Copic Markers to color your Tiddly Inks Images. Thanks for stopping by, I'll see you back Wednesday sometime with a new project!.
