DCC Birthday Blog Hop!!

Welcome to the Die Cut Crazy Birthday Blog Hop. The Die Cut Crazy Contributors have created some amazing birthday projects to inspire your own die cut creativity to make any birthday special.

If you just joined the Birthday Hop at my site, be sure and go back to the Die Cut Crazy blog for the hop kick off, then hop along the list to each of our designers. You won't want to miss any of the special birthday projects in this hop for sure.

I'm sharing two Birthday projects with you today.. up first is the project that's featured in this month's issue of Die Cut Crazy Magazine which is available now as a PDF or on Apple Devices.

I created this fun Birthday card using the Close to my heart set Robot Family Occasions. Isn't that robot Cuuuttteee?? For more details on this card you'll need to check out this month's issue of the magazine!

Up next is a very pretty card I created with Stampin' Up!'s Blended Bloom. My card base is Crumb Cake card stock. I added a layer of retired DSP in Costal Cabana that was matted with a piece of Whisper White card stock. I used the current sketch at Deconstructed Sketches for my layout!

Then I added a piece of Whisper White card stock that I embossed with the Chevron folder. I stamped the Flower image onto a piece of Whisper White card stock using some Memento Black ink and colored it with some Copic Markers. I then fussy cut it out and added it to the card front over a Crumb Cake Banner that I created.

It's hard to see in the photo but I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the flower center. For the sentiment I stamped the Happy Birthday from the SU photopolymer set Endless Birthday wishes in Crumb Cake onto a piece of Whisper White card stock and punched it out with the Curly label punch and added it behind the main panel. This is a fun Sketch.. and you could change the sentiment up to fit any occasion.
