FM171... Hello, Baby!

I'm still playing catch up with challenges this week.. Today's project is for this week's Friday Mashup challenge.. Avery is our hostess and wow is she making us think! We're Mashing up Pom-Poms and Punch art! Eeek... I had no idea how I was going to combine these two but I managed somehow..lol

I found this cute baby card on Pinterest.. I have no idea who originally created it though the link doesn't go anywhere..(don't you hate that)! There wasn't any measurements so I just eyeballed it.

My card base is Basic Grey and then I added a piece of Pool Party that I embossed with the Alphabet Press folder. I created the box with a piece of DSP (I am me). Then I created the baby with several circle punches.. 1 3/4", 3/4" & 1/2" using a piece of Blushing Bride card stock.

I added some ink with a sponge to the face and hands and then I drew the hair & eyes on with a marker. I added some Real Red Stitched Grosgrain ribbon and the sentiment is from the set Sweet Essentials. I was stumped with the Pom - Poms part of the challenge.. So I thought I'd create one and add it to the baby's hand. I was wing'n it y'all...lol

Head over to the Friday Mashup blog and see what the other Design Team members created with this challenge and we hope you will join us!

  4. Oh gosh, this is so darn cute. Love it, Holly. Great punch art! you winged it well, my dear with the pom-pom! Looks like it is supposed to be right there, and the card would not be complete without it!
