Thank You with Blended Bloom for SSC83!

Happy Sunday... Today I have a card for Sunday Stamps. This week we're on a color challenge and we are using Pink Pirouette, Wild Wasabi, Marina Mist & Whisper White.

I'm using the sketch from this week's Freshly Made Sketches along with the colors.

I'm not going to lie.. I don't like this card..lol I started with the Blended Bloom stamp and then tried to put my card together with several different sketches and I just didn't like anything. I think I ripped this apart about 15 times before I was done. Then I found this sketch and decided I'd go with it. I think it's the Vanilla against the white that's bugging me.

I stamped the Blended Bloom flower from SU onto a piece of Watercolor paper in Ranger Archival Black ink and then I colored it in with Pink Pirouette & Old Olive ink refills. For my card base I used a piece of Bazzill Marshmallow card stock. Then I stamped the splatter in Marina Mist from SU's Gorgeous Grunge set.  I added a piece of retired DSP in Old Olive and Vanilla along the bottom edge and then I piece of Marina Mist Grosgrain ribbon over it.

Then sentiment is from SU's Work of Art set and I stamped the "you" in Old Olive on a piece of Very Vanilla and punched it out with then 1 1/4" circle punch. Then I stamped the "thank" onto a piece of Whisper White in black ink and added it to the top. I felt it needed a little something so I added some different sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. I also added some clear Wink Of Stella to the center of the flower.

Be sure to head over to the Sunday Stamps blog and see what the other Design Team members created this week.. We hope you will join us! The challenge ends in two weeks! The Freshly Made Sketches challenge will close on Monday @ 12pm PST.
