Triple Threat for Back To School!

I'm still playing catch up on a few of my Challenges and when I started on my project for Stampin' Inspiration I noticed that the Lawnscaping challenge this week was Back to School.. and I was doing a Back to School project with a Lawn Fawn set for Stampin' Celebration so it worked out perfectly. I started with the Chalkboard on my project first and then I needed a sketch so I decided to go with the current sketch at Sweet Sunday...

I started out by stamping my images from the Lawn Fawn set A Good Apple and colored the images in with Copic markers. I cut everything out and then I cut a piece of Garden Green card stock from SU to fit inside the chalkboard. I heat embossed the sentiment on it using some white embossing powder and then I rubbed some white ink onto it to create a chalk look.

My card base is Bazzill Blueberry Sour I believe.. It came in a SSS kit of the month. Then I added some patter papers from the DCWV Edumacation Stack. I die cut the star from the same pattern paper pack using the small star in the Star framelits from SU.

I added some black Epoxy Bubbles I think they are called from CTMH I had in my stash. Overall I think it came out super cute.. I love the idea of getting a head start on cards for the Teachers I'm always cramming at the last minute it seems.

Head over to these challenge blogs and see what other have created and Join in the fun.. The Stampin' Celebration Challenge will end on August 12th @ 11pm EST.
