TTS24.. It's all about the Sparkle!

It's Thursday and that means time for a new challenge at 'Tis the Season! Have you started your Christmas cards yet? It's so close... it's scary if you ask me! This week we have a Color Challenge and we're using Black, Turquoise & Silver.

I also used the new Sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches.

I decided to add some texture to my background with the Simon Says Diagonal Stripes Stencil and some Embossing Paste. I tinted the Embossing paste with my  Tempting Turquoise re-inker.

I die cut a snowflake from the Snow Flurry Sizzix Die using some Silver Glimmer paper. I adhered that to the background using a dimensional in the center. I stamped Merry from the set Snowflake SoirĂ©e in some Tempting Turquoise and then Christmas is from the Endless Wishes set. I added a strip of Basic Black card stock and some Tinsel ribbon under it.

I don't remember what the snowflake gem is called that was in Last year's Holiday catalog I have a few laying around in my stash. I wanted to tie the rhinestones in that jewel in more so I added some rhinestones in several sizes. This is one of those cards you have to see in real life to see the sparkle!

Be sure to head over to the 'Tis the Season Blog and see what the other Design Team members created this week and Link up! The challenge will be open until Sept 9th @ 12pm EST. The Freshly Made Sketches Challenge is open until Monday @ 12pm PST.

Thanks for stopping by!
