I few weeks back I created this fun card for a friend of mine who's a BBQ guru!! He loves his BBQ and grills! I knew this King of The Grill image from Stampin' Up! was perfect!
However I don't own the stamp set.. So I printed it out from MDS using my printer onto a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock and let is dry for a few hours. Then I went back and colored it in using my COPIC markers.
I created the background as well with a COPIC marker and the Colorless Blender. For the sentiment I stamped the woo-hoo from the Just Sayin' set from Stampin' Up! and I die cut it with the matching framelit. I created a white card base and added some Daffodil Delight Pattern paper to it and then I stamped the canvas background from SU onto a piece of Garden Green card stock using the same color ink.
I wanted parts of the grill to really pop so I added some clear Wink of Stella, it's hard to see in the photo above. For the inside I printed the sentiment that comes in the Stamp Brush set and then I added some other words from the Endless Birthday Wishes set.
I have a ton of projects ready to show you on my computer.. Hopefully I'll remember to get them posted..lol I'm also entering this in the MarkerPop #51 Challenge "anything goes".
Thanks for stopping by today!
Cute! I love how you colored this. You may want to change your title to "BTU" instead of "BUT." Just my 2 bits....
