Stampin' Celebration & Halloween Treats!

We'll I'm officially a week late posting my card for Stampin' Celebration! Once again just not a lot of time to write up a post. A new Inspiration challenge started on Monday and I love the colors in these photos!

I pulled from the colors and the pink roses for my project.

I used the FTL311 sketch as well..

My card base is Pool Party and then I created the wood background by stamped the Hardwood background 3 times in Chocolate Chip, Smoky Slate and White off setting it a little each time onto a piece of crumb cake card stock. Cut it into strips and sponge the edges of the strips. I placed them onto the card base and trimmed them off.

I stamped the roses in Pink Pirouette and Blushing Bride and fussy cut them. The leaves are stamped in Wild Wasabi & Pear Pizzaz. I stamped the sentiment across the background in Chocolate Chip and added a few Sequins.

The Stampin' Celebrations Challenge is open until Friday Nov. 7th @ 9pm EST. Head over and see what the other Design Team members created with the Inspiration Photos above. We hope you will join us!

Lastly today I have a cute little Halloween project I made for my son's class.

I made 23 of these little Matchbook candy holders. The Holder measures 6 3/4 x 2 1/4 .. Score @ 3, 3 1/4 & 6 1/4. I used a staple to hold the candy in and create the flap. They were time consuming... but he loves handing these out and he's getting older so their won't be many more times to create these for him.

Hope you all have a Safe and Happy Halloween!!

  1. I'm reminded how much I love that wood grain stamp every time I see it. I need to use it more! And your matchbook candy holders look terrific! Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

  2. So very lovely, and the sketch is awesome, love the slant and the woodgrain, I need that stamp!!!!!
