Happy Sunday!!!

I hope everyone had a great Holiday in the US and for those of you in other places a great weekend. I have one more set of cards to show you that have been lingering on my desktop ready to be shown.

A long time friend of mine just had a baby Boy and I had a little surprise Baby shower (Lunch) for her a few weeks ago and wanted to create some Thank you cards for her.

I love this cute stamp set from Lawn Fawn called Hello Baby. One of the DT members created a similar card on her blog during the Hop introducing this stamp set. There wasn't too many instruction on how she did it so I tried to recreated the image panel with the Frog.

I die cut the circles first and then I masked off the bottom part and using 2 different colors of distress ink I sponged it on the bottom then reversed the tape and the other on the upper part of the circle. Then I stamped the leaves using the Rock n' Roll technique with SU's Wild Wasabi & Garden Green ink. I stamped "little prince" and the dotted line from the set in Versafine Black ink. Then I set the aside to dry... this was an assembly line project.

I stamped several of the frogs in Memento tuxedo black ink and colored them with Copics and cut them out. Then I adhered them with a dimensional. I used several patterns from some American Crafts Pebbles 12x12 Paper.. and I created a Basic Grey, Night of Navy & Crumb Cake card bases. With a strip of Wild Wasabi cut into a banner shape. I created 20 of these for her.. of course they had to have some Pretty Pink Posh sequins!!

Then came out really cute... time consuming but well worth it!

Thanks for stopping by today.. I'll be back later with a Sunday Stamps Sketch Challenge!
