'Tis the Season #30.. A Peacock Christmas!

Happy Tuesday everyone.. I'm a bit late posting my card for 'Tis the Season this week. If you have been over to the 'Tis the Season challenge blog you already got a peek at my project.

This week our colors are Tempting Turquoise, Lucky Limeade & Island Indigo or similar. And of course any Neutral of your choice. I decided to use the Winnie & Walter set "Winter Wonderland" along with some distress inks.

I also used these colors because they go along with the playdate challenge at Winnie & Walter. I'm using the green & teal colors from the palette and well has the pine you can see in the wreath over the deer.

I stamped the Pine images onto a piece of Watercolor paper and spritzed it with some water until it was blurred out but still had a bit of it's shape. Then once it was dry I stamped the same image again over in a darker shade. I did this with the Pines & the Pinecones.

This a fun technique I learned in the Watercolor for Card Markers class over at Online Card Classes

I stamped the greeting right onto the card at first but I didn't like it so I decided to try a piece of vellum instead. It's okay but I wasn't super Happy with it! But that's okay I can always make another Right? Then I added a few splatters of ink in the same colors.

I added a few Sequins in the similar colors and trimmed the panel down and added it to a Island Indigo card base!

Head over to the 'Tis the Season Challenge blog and see what the other Design Team members created... There's still lots of time to get some Christmas Cards created! The challenge will end on Dec. 2nd.

The Winnie & Walter Challenge ends on Nov. 28th so you still have time! Thanks for stopping by today!
