I a fun Holiday Coffee Card using some items in my stash that haven't even been opened yet!!! I started with a Crumb Cake card front and then I added some Embossing paste that I colored with Early Espresso ink through a Tim Holtz Stencils called Splatters. My sketch comes from this week's Freshly Made Sketches.
Once the background was dry I added some Real Red polka Dotted DSP and a strip of Wild Wasabi punched with the dotted scalloped border. Then I added some White bakers' twine to the edge and adhered it with dimensionals.
I stamped the coffee cup from the Simon Says Stamp set What's Brewing? in Memento Ink and added some shading with my Copics and stamped the Words from the Essentials by Ellen set called Merry & Bright. I stamped the Holly from the same set in Real Red & Wild Wasabi inks. Then I cut it out and added it with dimensionals. I glued the Crumb Cake piece to an Early Espresso card base. Such a fun card!
Be sure to head to Amy's Blog and start at the beginning of the Hop if you haven't already you don't want to miss any of the fun! If you read all that....
